The 100 cm portrait
The 100 cm version is intended for an exterior setting. The proposed installation combines the portrait with a reinforced concrete cylinder, with the clothing projecting forward over the support. Final installed height depends on the mounting position.
The 100 cm outdoor sculpture is completed and ready as of September 2026. It is a unique work, not part of an edition.

The insurance figure is supplied by the studio.
Concept dimensions. Weight is a planning estimate; confirm the final weight and sculpture depth with the studio for transport and structural review. Final foundation and anchoring details require local engineering approval.

The illustrated pedestal is a siting concept. Stone, timber, or concrete alternatives may be considered with the recipient, subject to studio approval of dimensions, load capacity, stability, and the mounting connection. The final material and finish should respond to the architecture and setting.
Precedent
Related exterior installation
Constantine and the Vision of the Cross (2025), at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Hamptons, provides a related example of the studio’s use of brass and bronze coatings over recycled PETG for exterior sculpture. The Jefferson portrait uses the same two-component UV clear coat, which has been in exterior service on Constantine since its 2025 installation. Maintenance requirements for the proposed site are set out below.
Public sculptureMaintenance
Clean periodically using a soft cloth. The studio specifies annual renewal of the exterior protective coating. The institution’s conservator and installation team should review the coating system and maintenance schedule for the site, using the manufacturer’s technical guidance.
Product-specific coating information, application method, and treatment compatibility should be established with the studio for conservation review before acceptance. No service-life guarantee is stated.
